An area frequented by raccoons near Stow Lake in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, California. Each night, small armies of raccoons raid the garbage cans here for food. While I was photographing, several cars pulled up and people threw out food for the raccoons as well. These urban raccoons have become habituated to humans and garbage as a major food source.
