An evening with Alex Coombs 262-880-1029, a tech working for the Cook County Urban Coyote Project. Using a radio telemetry antaenna mounted to the roof of a truck, they are able to follow radio collared coyotes to track their movements while hunting and transiting at night. Coyotes in Chicago often use railroad tracks as their highway during the night to hunt mainly for rabbits and small rodents around Chicago. While targeting Urban Coyotes in Chicago, Illinois, I partnered with Dr. Stanley Gehrt who leads the Cook County Urban Coyote Project. email: gehrt.1@osu.edu
